Clinical Director Advanced Recovery Systems, LLC is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. Responsibilities

Provide 24‑hour management of all clinical functions of the facility.

Ensure an excellent clinical product is delivered to patients, including group therapy, individual therapy, family counseling, and case management.

Ensure all activities comply with state and federal regulations, JC Standards, ASAM Standards, insurance provider requirements, and company policies and procedures.

Develop clinical programming and ensure staff compliance with the curriculum.

Monitor the continued competency of each clinician, ensuring state supervision guidelines and applicable certifications are met.

Audit documentation for compliance with company policy, state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and Medical Needs Criteria.

Monitor group therapy sessions for quality and curriculum compliance.

Maintain 92% compliance on facility metrics for all clinical staff.

Provide at least twice‑monthly individual supervision and monthly group supervision to clinical staff.

Review Service Time Reports daily and proactively resolve patient or staffing compliance issues.

Work with Site CEO and leadership to ensure patient attendance in clinical services.

Use substance abuse and co‑occurring therapeutic interventions and de‑escalation techniques to help patients achieve treatment goals.

Provide verbal and written feedback to staff as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Identify areas for improvement by analyzing data and developing the implementation and documentation of improvement plans.

Provide clinical supervision to clinicians who are not independently licensed/certified, signing required documents.

Plan and forecast hiring needs in collaboration with budget requirements.

Interview and hire clinical team members.

Ensure referents are contacted per company policy.

Lead Clinical and Daily Flash Meetings.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team leadership and cross‑functional departments to ensure continuity of care.

Work with recruiting to foster partnerships for internships and career development opportunities.

Develop and facilitate skill‑based trainings with evidence‑based content.

Maintain positive relationships with all staff and provide a safe, therapeutic environment.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Education

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a health‑related field.

Credentials

Independently licensed to practice the clinical discipline in the appropriate state.

Supervisory credential if required by state regulations.

CPR certification required.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ management experience with continuous quality improvement, JC standards, ASAM criteria, and insurance company MNC.

Five or more years of addiction services/treatment experience.

Knowledge of drug‑free workplace policies.

Knowledge of workplace violence.

Competency in clinical supervision.

Comply with RCW 18.130.180 regarding unprofessional conduct.

Knowledge and understanding of KPI metrics.
