Tax Senior Managers in our State & Local Tax (SALT) practice provide state and local property tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to a variety of clients. You will work directly with clients, manage the tax engagement team, and collaborate with senior firm leadership. Responsibilities

Engage in business‑development activities such as preparing proposals, presenting in webinars, and participating in client meetings. Provide guidance to clients on a range of property tax issues. Analyze property tax considerations and the potential impacts related to business restructuring or due diligence projects. Perform in‑depth reviews of complex property tax returns. Assist with drafting and presenting new proposals to new and existing clients. Supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate Seniors, Associates, and Interns. Requirements

6+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years of property tax and experience with property tax assessors. Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred). Advanced credential allowing client representation before the IRS (e.g., CPA or JD); CMI also acceptable. Self‑starter with initiative to seek opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Proficient use of technology. Compensation & Benefits

Salary range for San Francisco: $177,100 to $229,500, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance; 401(k) plan enrollment upon hire; 160 hours of paid time off annually; and twelve paid holidays each year.
