Job Description
As a Senior Associate or Vice President Compliance, you will support all aspects of our compliance program in accordance with all regulatory and compliance requirements. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our investment adviser compliance program, conducting compliance training, testing of our policies and procedures, and managing compliance software and systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of federal securities laws applicable to alternative asset managers.
Responsibilities
Maintain the investment adviser compliance program, including drafting and updating policies and procedures, training employees and assisting in compliance testing, and preparation for and responding to regulatory examinations. Provide compliance advice to investment teams and employees on 26Norths compliance policies and procedures. Assisting in the preparation of regulatory filings (Form ADV, Form PF, 13F, 13H, lobbyist registration, etc.). Assist with oversight of 26Norths Code of Ethics, including review and approval of requests relating to personal trading, outside business activities, private investments, gifts and entertainment, and political contributions. Assisting with preparing quarterly and annual compliance reporting materials Assist with the drafting and preparation of the 206(4)-7 annual review report. Monitor and advise on conflicts of interest. Assist with reviewing and approving marketing materials and responding to investor due diligence questionnaires. Assist with compliance testing around code of ethics, investment allocations, expenses, valuation, investment guidelines, etc. Assist with monitoring and approval of expert networks and expert network calls. Prepare compliance training materials and conduct new hire/ad-hoc compliance training.
Qualifications
5-10 years of relevant compliance experience with alternative investments. Experience with Private Equity, Credit, and Insurance preferred. BS/BA required. JD degree required. Exceptional knowledge of Investment Advisers Act and Investment Company Act Excellent organizational and time/project management skills with keen attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Ability to prioritize and work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $150,000.00 and $185,000.00. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidates relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion.
