Technical Skill Set. They would like someone who knows a little bit about everything and can refer it out to the proper groups. Example: The client has a dedicated Network and Active Directory Group. The IT Infrastructure Manager will need to know enough to explain the issue and get it to the right person/group. AWS and any certifications would be helpful. Everything is moving to AWS, and they have a significant backlog. The IT Infrastructure Manager role involves managing IT operations, which includes System Administrators and IT Coordinators. The IT Infrastructure Manager will implement IT service management practices based on the ITIL methodology, ensure effective daily IT operations, and manage critical infrastructure processes, including Pathing, Backup, and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP). Responsibilities also include vendor management, budget oversight (OPEX and CAPEX), leading local projects aligned with business unit priorities, and coordinating inter-GT activities related to Security and Architecture. Also, the IT Infrastructure Manager will facilitate the regional rollout of global projects and initiatives, driving IT excellence to support organizational goals.
Responsibilities: Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct operations, security, network, systems, and application deployment (cloud and on-premise), along with service desk and support functions for the IT Infrastructure department. Develop improvements to enhance hardware and network architecture, system methodology, and project governance. Collaborate with the Security and Development teams to assess information security risks and ensure compliance with standards and policies. Create and manage the IT department's annual expense and investment budget, negotiating with external providers to safeguard company interests and ensure SLAs. Oversee the development of requirements and specifications, ensuring compliance with PCI and SaaS regulations. Lead the IT infrastructure team in implementing technical solutions, secure installations, and design reviews. Ensure service management based on ITIL methodology and oversee daily IT operations and support. Manage key IT infrastructure processes such as Pathing, Backup, and DRP, along with vendor and budget management (OPEX and CAPEX).
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. 3 to 6 years as an Infrastructure Lead or Manager managing Windows and Linux Servers. Experience managing an AWS environment Work in a matrix environment and transnational companies. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to provide strategic direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage a diverse IT workforce. Demonstrated leadership in troubleshooting and problem-solving: Proven ability to lead teams in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex issues promptly. Foster an open environment for collaboration and creativity, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and solutions to overcome challenges effectively. Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to IT operations, security, and compliance.
