Our client, a growing aerospace/defense manufacturer, seeks a CFO to lead financial strategy and systems. This is an on-site role based in Ventura County, CA. Core Requirements: 15+ years in financial leadership within complex manufacturing (aerospace, defense, engineered products). Former CFO/VP Finance in a manufacturing setting. Direct experience with government compliance (TINA, CAS, DCAA audits), cost accounting, and revenue recognition. Proven track record in ERP implementation and M&A support. Ability to build teams, optimize costs, and provide strategic insight. Key Performance Objectives: Lead financial readiness for an upcoming ERP implementation. Build scalable reporting to improve margin and program analysis. Ensure robust government contract compliance and audit readiness. Drive cost optimization and support strategic growth/M&A.
