Living Room Devices (Smart TV) Salary Range:

$95K$110K base, Direct Hire Location:

Remote

is looking for a

Software Engineer

with strong

JavaScript and HTML

experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating high-performance TV apps and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver great viewing experiences across a range of Smart TV platforms.

What Youll Be Doing Develop and optimize

Smart TV applications

using

JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Build reliable, user-friendly interfaces that perform well across different TV platforms Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility and quality Support video playback features, streaming workflows, and device-specific behaviors Participate in agile development practices, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices What Were Looking For Hands-on experience building

Smart TV or TV-based applications Strong skills in

JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Familiarity with

video playback technologies ,

DRM , or

streaming formats Experience working in collaborative, agile engineering teams Comfort working with Git and modern development workflows Nice to Have Experience with

Roku, Android TV, or similar platforms Exposure to

HLS, DASH , or other streaming protocols Knowledge of

accessibility standards Experience with analytics or A/B testing tools

Related backgrounds:
