A leading healthcare-focused private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its investment team in Park City, Utah. The role offers meaningful exposure across the full deal lifecycle and the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals. The firm partners with founder-led and middle-market healthcare companies, providing a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where associates contribute directly to evaluating new investments and accelerating growth within portfolio companies.
Responsibilities Build comprehensive financial and valuation models, including LBOs, operating models, and scenario analyses. Support all aspects of due diligence, financial, commercial, operational, and regulatory - across healthcare sub sectors. Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials for internal discussions and investment committee review. Conduct market mapping, industry research, and assist in sourcing and evaluating new healthcare investment opportunities. Work closely with portfolio company leadership teams on performance tracking, operational improvements, and value-creation initiatives.
Qualifications 2-4 years of investment banking experience (M&A, leveraged finance, healthcare coverage, or related). Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with proven attention to detail. Effective communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly. Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Interest in or ties to Salt Lake City, Utah, or the broader Mountain West region are a plus
