Job Description: This individual will be a core member of a small team overseeing the diligence and execution of MARIs M&A and growth strategy across the organization. You should be an enthusiastic, strategic, and analytical thinker. Specific responsibilities of this role will include managing the M&A pipeline, evaluating and executing acquisition opportunities, and participating in corporate strategic planning activities. You will work directly with executive leadership at the corporate level and managers of individual business units, while also supervising internal teams and external advisors and consultants. You will be expected to lead business-level due diligence, drive confirmatory accounting/tax/legal diligence, and perform financial and valuation modeling for specific opportunities. You will take the lead in synthesizing, preparing, and presenting transaction memos that include summary of KPIs, strategic rationale, and investment returns.

Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field 2-4 years of combined experience in investment banking and/or private equity Self-starter with the ability to balance multiple, diverse projects with disparate timelines Intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in the entertainment, sports, and live events industries

Significant and demonstrable experience in each of the following: Analyzing business models, driving due diligence process, and evaluating investment opportunities Evaluating income statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets for public and private companies Financial modeling, including developing revenue and cost builds, forecasting cash flow, forecasting debt and equity capital structures, and modeling leveraged buyouts Preparing memos and presentations for internal and external audiences Executing domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and investment opportunities in excess of $50 million

Ideal candidates will also have early experience: Interacting with leadership and management teams across portfolio companies and/or investors Supervising and coordinating internal and external due diligence teams Negotiating deal terms across transaction documents and contracts
