The New York Infrastructure & Energy team is expanding and is seeking a high-performing M&A Associate to support continued deal momentum. This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to senior bankers and clients, and the opportunity to work on complex, marquee transactions across the full M&A lifecycle.
Responsibilities Execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across infrastructure, energy, and broader real assets Build and review detailed financial models (LBO, DCF, transaction and valuation analyses) Prepare and manage core transaction materials including teasers, CIMs, management presentations, and board materials Coordinate due diligence processes and interact directly with private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, lenders, and advisors Support senior bankers in transaction structuring, negotiations, and client communications Mentor junior team members and manage internal execution timelines
Qualifications 24+ years of experience in investment banking M&A, private equity, or a comparable buyside/sell side role Demonstrated deal experience executing full-cycle M&A transactions (buy-side and/or sell-side) Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills Background in energy, infrastructure, or real assets is a plus, but sector-agnostic M&A profiles with strong execution skills are encouraged
