Our client, a leading $50B+ alternative asset manager, is seeking a VP of Valuations to lead valuation activities across a diverse portfolio of alternative investments. This role oversees ASC 820compliant valuation methodologies, financial modeling, reporting, and valuation governance.
Key Responsibilities: -Lead valuation processes for alternative investment portfolios -Develop, refine, and stress-test valuation models -Manage end-to-end valuation workflows and documentation -Partner closely with senior leadership on portfolio reviews and new initiatives -Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Qualifications: -812 years of valuation experience in Corporate Direct Investments or Asset-Backed Finance -Background in consumer finance, small business finance, equipment/aviation leasing, or residential finance preferred -Expertise in DCF, comparable company, and transaction analyses -Power BI proficiency required; CPA or CFA strongly preferred -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with high attention to detail
