Executive Scouting
Were seeking a Tax Senior to prepare and review complex returns, support tax planning
initiatives, and contribute to client success in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. This
is a hands-on role with direct client interaction and mentorship opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate (1120/1120S/1120H), partnership (1065), individual (1040),
Estate and Trust (1041), and (990) tax returns
- Conduct quarterly tax projections, estimated payments, and multi-state compliance
- Assist with sales tax, personal property tax, payroll tax optimization, and workers comp audits
- Support tax planning for business expansion, entity structuring, and cost-saving strategies
- Use Proconnect Tax, QuickBooks Online, and Smartvault to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with senior leadership on client advisory and IRS/state correspondence
- Train and guide staff accountants on tax processes and software best practices
Qualifications
- CPA required
- 46 years of public accounting tax experience, ideally with small to mid-sized businesses
- Strong knowledge of pass-through entity taxation and multi-state filing requirements
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and QuickBooks Online
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and client communication
- Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000$110,000 base (commensurate with experience and credentials)
