We are seeking a Research Assoicate to join our client. This position is working with a firm in the Alternative Investment Space.
This is a research-focused position dedicated to analyzing private market and hedge fund investments. The ideal candidate will conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research, support ongoing due diligence, and contribute to the firms investment evaluation process.
Responsibilities Cover the hedge fund and private markets investment landscape and monitor industry trends Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on existing and prospective investments, preparing and maintaining detailed reports Participate in update calls and onsite diligence sessions with fund managers Review offering documents and update key data points within internal systems Draft investment memos for investor discussions, internal meetings, and written communications Assist with preparation of quarterly investment committee materials and support related action items Import monthly market data and support benchmarking and performance analysis Contribute to educational materials, research insights, and industry-focused content
Qualifications Strong understanding of hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and venture capital Bachelors degree required; Finance or Economics preferred CAIA or CFA preferred Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Strong writing, research, and analytical skills Must be able to work onsite in Miami and collaborate across internal teams
