About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated

Turnaround and Restructuring (T&R) Analyst

to join their elite boutique advisory team in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact engagements involving distressed companies, operational turnarounds, and financial restructurings. You will collaborate with senior leadership and clients to develop and execute strategies that stabilize businesses and maximize stakeholder value.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support client engagements focused on

financial restructuring, operational turnaround, and performance improvement . Conduct in-depth

financial analysis , liquidity assessments, and business plan reviews for distressed companies. Develop and implement

strategic restructuring plans , including cost optimization, cash flow management, and capital structure solutions. Prepare and deliver

client presentations, reports, and recommendations

to senior executives and stakeholders. Coordinate with legal advisors, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout restructuring processes. Stay current on market trends, bankruptcy proceedings, and distressed investment opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience

in turnaround and restructuring advisory, distressed investing, or related fields. Prior experience working with

distressed companies

or in a dedicated T&R practice (investment banking, consulting, or advisory). Strong understanding of

financial modeling, valuation, and liquidity analysis . Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with C-suite executives and stakeholders. Proven ability to thrive in a

fast-paced, high-pressure environment . Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus. Expected Compensation: Base Salary: $140k Discretionary Bonus: 30-50%+
