Senior Agile Project Manager As the Enterprise JIRA and Confluence Agile Project Manager you will oversee the fulfillment of larger organizational goals related to enterprise JIRA and Confluence organization as part of the larger Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management group. You will coordinate activities between multiple JIRA and/or Confluence migration projects and plan and develop the separate migration efforts. They will indirectly lead the team, monitor project progress, set deadlines, solve issues that arise, manage money, ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and evaluate project performance, including the performance of their team members.
Responsibilities: o Determine and define project scope and objectives. o Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner. o Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. o Track project costs to meet budget. o Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. o Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. o Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. o Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution. o Monitor progress and adjust as needed. o Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Must have Skills: o Understanding of the Agile methodology and the prioritization of cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement. o Deep working knowledge of the Atlassian suite of Agile tools (JIRA and Confluence) o Fluent in the Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines. o Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them. o Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project. o Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy. o Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals. o Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected. o Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
Qualifications: o Bachelors degree in computer science preferred. o 5-8 years of project management and related experience o Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. o Proven ability to solve problems creatively. o Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices o Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. o Excellent analytical skills o Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful o Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
