Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead the Maximo product roadmap by aligning business needs with system capabilities and prioritizing enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, IT, and vendors) to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories. Oversee system configuration and upgrades, ensuring Maximo supports asset lifecycle management, work order processing, and regulatory compliance. Monitor system performance and user adoption, identifying opportunities for optimization and training. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination.
Requirements 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst working with IBM Maximo in a utility or asset-intensive industry. Strong understanding of asset management workflows, including preventive maintenance, work orders, and inventory control. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and stakeholder engagement. Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Plusses (Nice to Have) Experience with Maximo Mobile or Maximo Application Suite (MAS). Familiarity with electric utility operations, including transmission, distribution, or generation. Knowledge of integration tools such as ESB, REST APIs, or middleware platforms.
Compensation: $___55_/hr to $__85___/hr.
