Summary: We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient
Product Owner
to define the strategy, roadmap, and features for critical applications within the
BFSI domain . The primary focus will be leading the product vision and execution for a major modernization effort, specifically the
migration of existing Java applications to the .NET framework .
Key Responsibilities:
Vision & Strategy:
Define, own, and champion the product vision and strategic roadmap for BFSI appl, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and modernization objectives. Backlog Management:
Translate high-level business requirements into clear, concise, and prioritized
User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
(epics, features, and stories) for the development team. Migration Execution:
Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical migration team, specifically managing the trade-offs and priorities related to the
Java to .NET application migration . Stakeholder Communication:
Manage expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and release timelines to all stakeholders, including senior management and legal/compliance teams. UAT & Rollout:
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage the deployment and successful rollout of the newly migrated .NET applications, ensuring zero disruption to business operations.
Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role. Deep Domain Expertise:
Strong working knowledge of the
BFSI sector
(e.g., core banking, lending, trading, or insurance platforms) and associated regulatory requirements. Technical Migration Experience:
Proven experience and understanding of the technical challenges and dependencies involved in
migrating large-scale applications from Java (J2EE/Spring) to modern .NET/C# frameworks . Agile Proficiency:
Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Excellent analytical, decision-making, and written/verbal communication skills.
