Manager of FP&A

Overview We are partnering with a large, well-established Atlanta-based organization to recruit a highly skilled Manager of FP&A. This company is known for promoting from within, offering strong compensation and benefits, and providing hybrid work flexibility. This is a high-visibility role that reports directly to the VP of FP&A and collaborates closely with the executive leadership team.
Position Summary The Manager of FP&A will play a critical role in steering financial insights and operational performance for a business unit with $170M in operating costs. This leader will oversee core FP&A responsibilities including financial reporting, modeling, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, dashboard creation, and strategic analysis. The role requires strong partnership with business leaders to understand performance drivers and support decision-making at the highest levels. Key responsibilities include:
Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership to guide financial planning and performance Lead budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and variance analysis activities Build and enhance KPI frameworks; develop dashboards to track performance trends Create and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting packages Analyze operational drivers to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth Provide data-driven insights to inform strategy, investments, and resource allocation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field from a top-tier program 4+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, and/or FP&A Expert-level Excel financial modeling skills; proficiency with SQL Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills Proven track record of professional stability and progression Must be local to Atlanta metro
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
