ERP Systems / Enterprise Applications Manager, 25-14060 Our client is seeking a senior Business Applications Manager to lead and scale ERP platforms across a complex, multi-entity distribution organization. This is a true leadership role focused on strategy, demand management, and execution, not fixing broken systems. You will own ERP direction across multiple platforms, lead high-performing teams, and partner closely with senior business leaders to translate enterprise best practices into scalable, measurable system outcomes. Location: Addison, IL or Houston, TX Status: Hybrid (4 onsite and 1 remote)

Competitive salary range :
$175000 - $190,000 Bonus Eligible What Youll Be Doing Leading three ERP development teams across multiple platforms Owning ERP demand intake, prioritization, and delivery cadence Defining and executing ERP roadmaps, upgrades, and consolidations Partnering with business leaders to translate needs into ERP enhancements Overseeing vendors, integrations, and ERP lifecycle management Managing KPIs related to automation, delivery performance, and system health Guiding Agile and iterative development practices across ERP teams Serving as escalation point for ERP application issues and critical incidents Industry Environment Complex, multi-entity
distribution organization High-volume transactional ERP environments ERP systems supporting inventory movement, pricing models, supply chain, and finance
About You Be able to do the job as described. 7+ years of experience
working with enterprise ERP platforms in complex, multi-entity environments, with
hands-on exposure to systems such as Epicor P21, Infor SX.e, SAP, JDE, or similar large-scale ERPs . 5+ years leading or managing ERP-focused teams , including Developers and Business Analysts, with accountability for delivery, prioritization, and outcomes. Strong technical understanding of
ERP development lifecycles , including requirements definition, configuration vs. customization decisions, integrations, testing, upgrades, and production support. Proven experience managing
ERP demand intake, prioritization, and roadmaps , balancing competing business needs across sales, inventory, finance, supply chain, and operations. Confident communicator able to influence across IT and business leadership Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on leadership Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environments is strongly preferred
Technical & Functional Experience ERP development lifecycles and enterprise application ecosystems Distribution business processes including pricing, inventory, supply chain, and finance ERP integrations using APIs, middleware, and third-party systems (EDI, tax, document management, VMI, finance apps) Familiarity with SQL-based development, REST/SOAP APIs, and ERP toolsets Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
