Role Overview
The Senior Technical Analyst provides senior-level technical expertise supporting Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V), system testing, technical assessment, and risk analysis for enterprise IT systems. This role focuses on evaluating system quality, performance, compliance, and operational readiness across development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities Perform Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) for enterprise IT systems and services Conduct technical assessments of system design, functionality, performance, and compliance Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Perform functional, performance, regression, and acceptance testing Participate in sprint-based, pre-release, and end-user testing activities Evaluate system documentation including test artifacts, user guides, and operational materials Identify technical risks, issues, and improvement opportunities Support configuration and change management processes Contribute to risk registers, dashboards, and technical reports Provide clear, actionable technical findings and recommendations
Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline Advanced degree preferred
Experience 8+ years of experience performing technical analysis, system evaluation, testing, or IV&V 35 years in a senior technical role supporting complex IT systems Experience working across the SDLC, including Agile environments Experience supporting federal or large-scale enterprise systems preferred
Certifications One or more of the following preferred: Certified Software Tester (e.g., ISTQB) Agile or Scrum certification ITIL or systems analysis certification
