and become a key contributor on complex personal and business returns, research projects, and year-round planning. Youll collaborate directly with managers and partners, help shape client strategies, and see your work make a visible impactwithout getting lost in a massive hierarchy.
What Youll Do Review & prepare
diversified, often complex individual and business tax returns. Research
federal and state tax issues; translate findings into clear, practical recommendations. Assist managers/partners
on higher-complexity engagements and selective review of individual and business returns. Support planning & projections
for clients; contribute to tax strategies throughout the year. Collaborate cross-functionally
with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables. Elevate quality & efficiency
by identifying process improvements and sharing best practices.
What Youll Bring Senior-level public accounting tax experience with complex individual and business returns. Bachelors degree (Accounting or related field preferred; Masters a plus). Proficiency with tax software ProSystem fx
experience preferred. Strong critical thinking and judgment; ability to craft solutions that fit each client. Clear, responsive communication and a service mindsetclients trust you to be reliable. Intellectual curiosityyou enjoy tax research and continuous improvement.
Nice to Have CPA or progress toward licensure. Familiarity with modern tax research tools and workpaper systems. Interest in mentoring staff and contributing to team development. Ties to and enthusiasm for serving the Louisiana business community.
