Manufacturing A growing manufacturing organization on Long Island is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Finance to serve as a strategic finance partner to Operations, Supply Chain, and Corporate Finance leadership. This highly visible role will provide deep analytical insight into manufacturing costs, capital investments, and operational performance to support long-term planning and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports. Perks & Benefits Competitive base salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401(k) plan with company match Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Life, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Additional benefits in accordance with company policy Core Responsibilities Manufacturing & Supply Chain Financial Strategy Analyze and validate standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead Evaluate manufacturing footprint, capacity utilization, and cost structures Identify opportunities for consolidation, outsourcing, automation, or relocation Assess financial and operational impacts of manufacturing and supply chain restructuring initiatives Build dynamic financial models to evaluate cost savings, ROI, and payback periods Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for strategic decision-making Capital Planning & Investment Analysis Evaluate capital expenditure proposals for financial viability and strategic alignment Develop and maintain long-term capital planning models and forecasts Support prioritization of capital projects based on financial and operational impact Financial Analysis & Executive Partnership Quantify short- and long-term financial implications of supply chain and operational decisions Develop executive-level business cases, presentations, and financial summaries Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Corporate Finance Collaborate with plant leadership to validate operational data and financial assumptions Support continuous improvement initiatives and enterprise cost-reduction programs Ideal Candidate Profile Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (required) Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (required) Strong background in cost accounting, supply chain finance, and operational finance Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite Experience working with manual and automated accounting systems Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously Results-driven with strong business acumen and strategic mindset Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Collaborative, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced environmentsReady to Take the Next Step?
