Overview
The Investment Banking Sr. Analyst position entails analyzing financial statements, creating financial models, performing industry and company research, assisting in the creation of marketing and buyer/investor presentations, drafting offering memoranda, identifying prospective buyers and investors and other tasks related to mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance. Candidates should have experience with valuation methods including discounted cash flow, comparable companies (public) and comparable transactions (M&A) and have strong interpersonal relations skills. The position requires a highly-motivated, ethical individual willing to take initiative in a fast-paced but rewarding deal-making environment.
Ideal candidates should have
at least one year of investment banking experience
as well as deep familiarity with accounting, finance, marketing, business and economics concepts, with particular emphasis on financial accounting and financial statement analysis. Candidates should have expert proficiency in Excel, strong analytical ability and solid oral and written communication skills including experience drafting PowerPoint presentations, as well as a minimum GPA of 3.5 from a top-tier university.
The Sr. Analyst position offers the opportunity to develop a vast set of finance, accounting and marketing & sales skills and gain deep exposure to mergers & acquisitions and private placements, both equity and debt. Additionally, top performing Sr. Analysts are considered for direct promotion to an Associate position.
Annual Compensation : $120,000 - $180,000 consisting of base salary and incentive performance bonus.
Education : Bachelors degree from a top-tier university.
