Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Analyst
Cloud Security & Compliance Location: Norwalk, Connecticut, United States (Onsite) Salary: $130,000- $140,000 per year (Base) Eligibility: US Citizens & GC Holders only
Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to support enterprise security operations with a strong focus on cloud security, compliance, and audit leadership. This role will be a key contributor in maintaining and advancing our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance posture, working closely with internal IT, cloud, and audit stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings 612 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, deep knowledge of AWS and Azure security frameworks, and proven experience leading audits in regulated environments. This is an individual contributor role (not a people manager or architect position).
Key Responsibilities Lead and support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits, including planning, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and auditor coordination Implement, assess, and maintain cloud security controls across AWS and Azure environments Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and control effectiveness reviews aligned with industry frameworks Partner with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance alignment Support annual internal and external security audits and customer security assessments Develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and control documentation Monitor compliance with security frameworks and regulatory requirements Identify security risks and drive remediation efforts through to closure Provide clear audit-ready reporting to leadership and stakeholders
Required Qualifications 612 years of cybersecurity experience
(candidates with more than 12 years may be overqualified) Strong hands-on experience with: ISO 27001 implementation and audit leadership SOC 2 Type I & Type II readiness and audits Cloud security in AWS and Azure environments Proven experience leading audits (not just participating) Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications CompTIA Security+ certification (required or strongly preferred
