Derivatives Analyst Schedule:

Job Purpose Under limited supervision, the Derivatives Analyst provides operational support for derivatives activity at *****. The role covers trade processing, confirmations, clearing, collateral management, lifecycle events, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting

including oversight of third-party vendors. This position requires independent judgment in resolving time-sensitive and risk-critical issues, continual development of advanced derivatives knowledge, and strong relationship-building across internal and external partners. Key Responsibilities

Operations Provide timely and accurate support for all derivative trade activity, lifecycle management, and settlements, including messaging to custodians and fund accounting agents. Affirm/confirm trades through internal and external platforms; monitor technology tools to ensure accurate and timely trade flow. Liaise with front office teams, brokers, custodians, vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve trade, lifecycle, and reporting issues. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve trade fails. Perform vendor oversight for outsourced derivative processes (trade capture, confirmation, settlement, margin, reporting, collateral). Use internal/custodian/fund accounting systems to resolve inquiries and exceptions. Support internal/external projects, testing initiatives, regulatory reporting requirements, client requests, and audits. Maintain updated procedures and ensure compliance with documentation and archiving standards.

Industry & Regulatory Stay current on derivatives industry developments, technologies, and regulatory changes. Participate in internal service meetings, committees, and working groups as required.

Work Experience / Knowledge 13 years of experience in the investment industry required. Working knowledge of ETD, cleared, and OTC derivatives, collateral management, and lifecycle events.

Proficient in analyzing numerical data; working knowledge of

Microsoft Excel

PowerPoint . Mindset oriented toward continuous process improvement.

Education Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Licenses / Certifications None required. Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development and industry-relevant training.

Working Conditions Standard office environment. Regular work schedule, though hours may vary based on projects or daily trade volume. Occasional evening, weekend, or exchange-holiday work may be required. Vacation may be limited during peak business periods.
