Role Description The
Investment Analyst/Associate
will participate in the full investment cycle, including deal sourcing, research, due diligence, execution, and portfolio monitoring. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical capabilities, solid financial skills, and a proactive mindset who are eager to grow within a lean PE/VC team.
Key Responsibilities Conduct industry and market research to identify investment trends and opportunities. Source and screen potential deals through market mapping, networking, and referrals. Build and maintain financial models, conduct valuation analysis, and assess business plans. Prepare investment memos, presentations, and proposals for internal discussion and committee review. Assist or lead due diligence efforts in collaboration with external advisors and internal stakeholders. Support transaction execution, including coordination with legal and financial advisors. Monitor portfolio company performance and assist with value-creation initiatives. Maintain internal databases, reports, and market intelligence updates. Participate in meetings with founders, management teams, and industry experts. Contribute to deal structuring, negotiation support, and exit planning.
Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field. 25 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance. Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial statements and investment concepts. Strong research, writing, and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and within a small, fast-paced team. Detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work bilingually, with prior experience in a bilingual work environment.
Preferred Attributes Experience in technology, healthcare, consumer, or industrial sectors. Prior exposure to early-stage or growth-stage deals. Strong commercial judgment, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset. Ability to interact confidently with founders, management teams, and stakeholders.
