TalentWealth Recruiting , a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity. An independent wealth management practice based in West Springfield, MA is hiring an Associate Financial Advisor to their growing team.
This position serves as an integral team member working directly with a Financial Advisor (FA) as a junior advisor in a practice that focuses on comprehensive wealth management. The position is actively involved in all aspects of client relationship management, including, but not limited to, all facets of wealth planning, portfolio analysis and investment recommendations.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree 4+ years of experience in financial services or wealth management Successful completion of the Series 7 and Series 66 exams or the ability to do so within six months Knowledge of the securities industry, its operations and its products to include stocks, bonds, mutual funds/ETFs, annuities, various retirement plans (IRAs, Simple, Roth), etc. Ability to analyze portfolios and select appropriate investments for clients Understanding of financial planning concepts Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to build and maintain relationships and handle multiple and complex client situations Good organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to independently manage multiple demands and competing priorities
Duties: Build and maintain ongoing professional relationships with clients; understand client goals, tolerance for risk and financial situation Assist in delivery of goals-based financial planning solutions for clients Review and monitor client progress towards goals and milestones in accordance with the financial plan Work collaboratively with FA to manage and monitor client portfolios in accordance with stated goals, objectives, risk tolerance and team investment discipline Rebalance portfolios on a periodic basis to maintain stated allocation targets Achieve and maintain a solid understanding of all product categories such as managed accounts, complicated retirement accounts, and annuities and understand their impact on a clients portfolio Perform and other duties and special projects as necessary, including solving problems in client accounts, processing paperwork, taking unsolicited orders and preparing correspondence
