Empowered Staffing is partnered with a rapidly expanding Merchant Cash Advance provider that is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Finance to manage the full financial function for the company, from daily accounting, reconciliations, internal reporting, systems oversight, and strategic financial planning.
This hands-on role will also help build, modernize, and elevate the companys internal accounting and financial operations while designing scalable processes, structures, and reporting frameworks to support aggressive growth.
Key Responsibilities: Own all daily accounting operations, including QuickBooks oversight, high-volume deal reconciliations, investor/syndicator wallet management, commission payouts, and integration of financial data from the CRM. Design, implement, and optimize scalable financial systems, reporting structures, and operational workflows to support rapidly increasing deal volume. Build and enhance financial controls, processes, and analytical frameworks that strengthen accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency. Produce and refine internal financial reporting, providing actionable insights that help guide leadership decision-making. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to support expansion initiatives and introduce creative, out-of-the-box financial solutions that push the business forward. Serve as a strategic voice within the leadership team, helping shape the financial infrastructure and long-term business strategy.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred. Strong accounting depth with experience managing high-volume reconciliations and financial operations. Demonstrated ability to build processes, implement systems, and manage financial operations in a scaling organization. Proficiency with QuickBooks and CRM-integrated financial data; experience with workflow automation is a plus. Strategic thinker with the ability to remain hands-on and detail-oriented. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
