Senior Financial Analyst

to join their Finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, long-term planning, and operational excellence.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a sharp, analytical, and proactive Finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced tech environment.

About the Role The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a critical business partner to leadership across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Executive teams. This role will drive financial visibility, improve forecasting accuracy, build financial models, and support strategic initiatives tied to company growth.

You will have the opportunity to influence decision-making, build scalable processes, and own core components of financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes Build, refine, and maintain financial models to support forecasting, headcount planning, profitability analysis, and product performance Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations) to provide financial insights, KPIs, and recommendations Analyze monthly results, variances, and trends; prepare executive-level reporting and dashboards Evaluate software development project costs, resource allocation, and ROI Support cash flow forecasting and scenario modeling to guide strategic decisions Work with leadership to support pricing strategies, cost optimization, and margin improvement Develop and improve financial processes, reporting structures, and automation initiatives as the company scales Support ad-hoc analysis for M&A discussions, fundraising preparation, and board presentations

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 5+ years of experience in FP&A , ideally within software, SaaS, technology, or high-growth industries Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills (modeling tests may be included) Experience with forecasting, budget ownership, KPI analysis, and executive reporting Solid understanding of SaaS metrics, software development cost structures, and revenue modeling (ARR, churn, LTV, CAC, product margins, etc.) Exceptional analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with non-financial stakeholders Highly self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment Experience with financial systems (NetSuite, Adaptive, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
