9pm On-Boarding : 3-4 weeks, start date 1/12 or 1/19
You will be configuring Polycom phones with Microsoft Teams, packaging them, shipping to all SSA field office, and doing remote installation over the phone.
Day to Day : Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice to support migration efforts to Microsoft Teams voice platform Establishes communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment. Support number porting, call routing validation, and failover testing. Assist with site turn-ups, migrations, and cutovers. Verifies service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; and identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
Must Haves : Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, information technology, or another related field Associate degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience One to three years of related IT/telecommunications experience 1 to 3 years of experience in engineering and configuring solutions that implement VoIP. Experience in system Manager (SMGR), Session Manager (SM), Element Management System (EMS), Session Border Controller (SBC), Application Enablement Services (AES), and SIP trunking solutions. Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for Telephony systems, including incident and problem management for CM, SMGR, SM, EMS, SBC, AES, and SIP environments. Deep understanding of SIP trunking, VoIP protocols, and telephony infrastructure.
