Telecommunications Admin (Full Time, Contract-to-Hire;5x Onsite in Johns Creek, Georgia)
Optomi, in partnership with one of our clients, is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Admin with strong Microsoft Teams Voice experience to support and operate the organizations enterprise voice environment. This role focuses on administering Teams Voice across multiple locations, executing migrations from legacy phone systems, managing number porting, auto attendants, call queues, E911, and supporting IP phones and SIP devices. The role also includes supporting corporate mobile devices, coordinating with carriers such as AT&T and Verizon, and resolving telephony issues in a collaborative, onsite environment where reliability and customer service are key.
Responsibilities: Administer, support, and optimize Microsoft Teams Voice across corporate and field locations Lead and support telephony migrations and cutovers from legacy phone systems, including number porting and deployment activities Configure and maintain auto attendants, call queues, E911, IP phones, and SIP/paging devices to ensure reliable voice services Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve telecommunications issues and outages, ensuring stable performance Support corporate mobile devices and fleet tablets, including activations, deactivations, reporting, and basic MDM coordination Manage carrier and vendor relationships (AT&T, Verizon) and handle telephony-related tickets and changes through ServiceNow
