ABOUT THE ROLE
Were looking for an experienced
IT Director
to lead our technology function and support our fast-moving, multidisciplinary teams across multiple global locations. You will ensure our studios infrastructure, systems, and tools are robust, secure, and optimized to help our teams deliver exceptional workfrom concept through production and installation.

150-person global creative studio
bringing together designers, strategists, technologists, innovators, and production teams across several markets. Our work spans brand experiences, retail environments, digital innovation, immersive installations, and integrated campaigns for world-class clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Strategy, Infrastructure & Operations Develop, present, and execute the companys IT strategy in alignment with business goals. Design, maintain, and scale a
high-availability, fault-tolerant IT infrastructure
across offices and remote teams. Ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of IT systems, networks, telecommunications, and cloud services. Oversee deployment, monitoring, and optimization of infrastructure components including servers, virtualization environments, storage, and backup systems. Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, access control, endpoint protection, and internal/external perimeter security.
IT Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead service delivery and technical support for on-site and remote staff, ensuring prompt, high-quality resolution of issues. Support creative and production teams with software/hardware troubleshooting (Adobe CC, Cinema 4D, Figma, render engines, color/calibration workflows, etc.). Provide technical support during
shoots, installations, events, and client presentations , including AV equipment setup (cameras, mixers, microphones). Manage relationships with external IT vendors, managed service providers, and SaaS platforms.
Systems Administration & Business Process Automation Oversee corporate services such as
Help Desk, Active Directory, email systems, file storage, VPN, Wi-Fi, backup protocols , and secure asset management workflows. Deploy and maintain monitoring systems to ensure uptime and detect issues proactively. Lead or support IT initiatives that automate business processes and improve operational efficiency. Prepare and maintain documentation: technical specs, SOPs, internal policies, workflows, and user guides.
IT Budgeting & Asset Management Own the IT budget, forecasting, procurement, licensing, and vendor negotiations. Monitor software licensing compliance and ensure timely renewals. Manage purchasing and lifecycle of hardware, workstations, render nodes, networking equipment, and peripherals.
REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of IT leadership or management experience
(IT Manager, IT Director, Engineering Manager, or similar). Strong experience building and maintaining
resilient, distributed IT environments . Successful track record of executing
IT projects
end-to-end. Experience running or supporting
creative/media production environments
is a major plus. Excellent understanding of:, Windows & macOS administration, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, VPN, VLANs, DFS Monitoring, backup, failover, and storage systems Cybersecurity fundamentals Experience with virtualization and on-prem/cloud infrastructure (VMware, iSCSI/SAN, Serverless workflows). Hands-on exposure to
AWS
(EC2, S3, DNS/Route 53, data sync, Lambda) preferred. Familiarity with multimedia production workflows and high-performance workstations (render farms, GPU systems). Understanding of color-managed pipelines and display calibration is a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams. Ability to thrive in a
fast-paced, deadline-driven creative environment .
