As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. - Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in a healthcare environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential risks to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to enforce facility policies.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and assisting with evacuation or other response efforts as needed.
- Vaccines are required for this hospital position.
- This hospital position may require working in or near the hospital morgue.
- This hospital position may require restraining individuals as part of security-related duties.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
