- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and access credentials as required by site policies.
- Document observations and incidents accurately in reports for management and client review.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to answer questions and provide assistance.
- Remain alert to potential security-related risks or hazards and report them according to site procedures.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment at the location.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
