- Control access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors according to established procedures.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and to observe for any irregularities.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Assist with emergency response activities as required, including providing clear information and direction to occupants during incidents.
- Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and team members to maintain a positive environment at the location.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
