Description We are looking for a Client Service Representative to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver top-tier client service while utilizing your expertise in fund accounting and financial analysis. The role requires someone with strong attention to detail who can effectively manage client inquiries, produce accurate reports, and ensure seamless resolution of accounting-related issues. Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and accurately to client inquiries, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Calculate daily NAVs and prepare month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Generate and review various internal and external reports to meet client and organizational needs.
- Utilize internal technology platforms to manage client servicing tasks efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve accounting-related discrepancies and issues on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client concerns and deliver customized solutions.
- Apply knowledge of corporate actions, equity, fixed income, and derivative investments to support client needs.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Leverage analytical skills to interpret data, workflows, and numeric information for problem-solving.
- Maintain proficiency in financial tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, and Reuters to optimize reporting and analysis.
- 1-3 years of experience in fund accounting or a similar financial role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
- Knowledge of corporate actions, fixed income, equity investments, and emerging markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in deadline-driven environments.
- Experience with technology solutions for managing financial deliverables.
