As a **Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver** in **Brookwood, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. This is a driving post, so you will regularly conduct vehicle patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious behavior observed during patrols.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, hazards or maintenance needs identified while on patrol to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support a secure working environment by remaining visible and approachable to employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific instructions related to security-related operations and emergency preparedness.
**Minimum Requirements:**
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • This post is primarily a driving post.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
