Lab Calibration Technician , you will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of a variety of precision measuring tools and equipment. You will work closely with our production and engineering teams to ensure that all tools and instruments are operating within specified tolerances, supporting our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Calibrate and maintain measuring tools, instruments, and gauges, including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, CMMs, and other precision instruments. Perform routine calibration checks, adjustments, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and reliability of all measuring equipment. Ensure all tools meet internal and external quality standards, adhering to ISO/ANSI or other applicable standards. Record calibration data and maintain accurate calibration logs and reports. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment or tools that are out of calibration. Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Perform maintenance and repairs on calibration equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical engineering, measurement science, metrology, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Calibration Technician or in a similar role, with experience calibrating precision measuring tools and equipment. Strong knowledge of calibration standards, procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings. Familiarity with relevant calibration software and tools. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different departments. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
