OPPORTUNITY :
Administrative support role for currently enrolled students. This is an off-campus Federal Work Study Position. RESPONSIBILITIES & COMMUNITY :
Arise Community Outreach Programs is seeking a motivated and creative Work-Study Student to support student recruitment efforts for our private school. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to contribute both remotely and on-site as needed. The ideal candidate will: Assist with outreach and help design marketing materials. Provide light administrative support. Have basic knowledge of technology, including website editing or creation. On-Site Location: 13001 Veronica Rd., Farmers Branch, 75234 Responsibilities include: Assist with student recruitment outreach through digital and in-person channels. Design and create flyers, brochures, and other promotional materials. Contribute to website updates and content improvements. Maintain digital and paper-based filing systems related to recruitment. Support communication efforts, including email campaigns and follow-up calls. Attend occasional school events or recruitment fairs as needed. Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, mailing, and scheduling. Collaborate with staff on special projects related to school enrollment and public relations. QUALIFICATIONS :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must: Have strong written and verbal communication skills. Possess basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe, Microsoft Publisher). Be familiar with website builders (e.g., Wix, Squarespace, WordPress) - preferred. Be able to work independently and manage time effectively. Have a professional attitude and interest in education, marketing, or communications. Be available to work on-site for select events or projects. Be an enrolled student at DeVry/Keller in good standing with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester.
