Associate Attorney

Must be currently licensed in Texas with at least two (2) years of FULL TIME experience in civil/commercial litigation. Please do not apply if you do not have the requisite experience. Successful candidates must possessSTRONG LEGAL WRITING and research abilities. Preference to applicants who are well versed in all facets of litigation including drafting and responding to discovery, motions practice and attending depositions and hearings. Preference will also be given to candidates with trial experience and/or substantial experience handling depositions and arguing motions in court. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and detail-oriented and able to efficiently and competently work a docket with little supervision. Responsibilities - Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support litigation cases. - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with strong writing skills. - Utilize negotiation skills in resolving legal disputes and reaching settlements. - Assist in general and commercial litigation matters, applying relevant legal knowledge and experience. - Manage legal administrative tasks to support the overall efficiency of the legal team.
