$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr Responsibilities

Facilitates routine to complex contract life cycle activities from proposal through performance to closeout including planning, source selection, and post-award contract; prepares, revises, negotiates and analyzes and ensures effectiveness of contracts. Technical & Process Knowledge : Develop and manage contracts, ensure compliance of work with requirements, organize records; advance changes and create a sense of accomplishments; identify, document, and monitor processes and develop framework for processes and improvement. Critical Thinking : Critical review and translate requirements, data and information to specify solutions or alternative practice in support of business objectives and strategies; collaborate to implement changes. Communication : Proficiently exchange information through various avenues including verbal, digital, written, facilitation of work completion and persuasion; work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, convey and interpret information; maintain collaborative relationships and communicate complex information logically and clearly; coach to align performance with organizational mission, values and initiatives. Technology : Proficient use of information electronically and associated systems specifically MS Word and Excel applications. Essential Functions : Oversees and facilitates routine to complex contract life-cycle activities from proposal through performance to closeout including planning, source selection, and post-award contract; develops and updates scope of work and agreements; facilitates and conducts pre-bid and pre-award conferences; ensures consistency of contract with requirements; recommends and resolves issues and non-compliance matters. Prepares bids and specifications; drafts and updates work scope, RFPS, RFQs, contracts, amendments, change orders consistently with practice; monitors and interprets contractual agreements and recommends compliance measures where there is deviation from specifications. Negotiates and recommends contracts award; administers and ensures contract effectiveness; terminates and closes out contract upon completion; resolution of all conflicts, and final disposition of payment and obtains adequate release of claims documents; analyzes and advises on contracts for potential risks. Is the primary contact on all contracts process and enquiries including on-call ready service contractor enquiries and interface; tracks contract termination and notifies team members of deadlines; ensures department contracts are effective at all times; coordinates and communicates contract status, approval process and distributes contracts; maintains agreements, records and documents activities; facilitates and/or participates in process and practice improvements; trains others on practices and processes. Must Haves

BA degree in acquisition and contract management, business or public administration, engineering or a related field; At least 1 year of relevant experience. Seniority level
