Job Description Summary You are a technical client-focused Solution Specialist who understands emerging energy industry trends and implications on utilities and their clients through effective DERMS Deployments and Complex Integration. What will you as our new Solution Specialist work on? Engage with utility clients to understand the impacts of distributed energy resources (DERs) on the distribution system and provide solutions for management and planning. Align solutions with clients' business needs and exceed expectations. Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solution architectures. Define success criteria and create solution diagrams. Lead system development, integration, and testing. Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues and inform them of developments. Plan DERMS integration into client environments, focusing on ADMS / AEMS ecosystems. Review application designs, ensuring project requirements are met with technical guidance. Deploy GE GridOS DERMS solutions, prepare input data, and automate data processing. Convert and validate network models, design APIs, and develop custom integrations. Utilize full stack development skills to deliver tailored solutions. Coordinate with service engineering to meet standards and timelines. Respond to client inquiries, debug software issues, and document processes. Automate workflows and analyze project data. Possess hands-on experience with deploying solutions on AWS, with certification as a plus. Report outcomes and present findings to stakeholders. Have 5+ years in data modeling, data management, and utility data integration. Gather and synthesize modeling tasks effectively, with a detail-oriented approach. Responsibilities include:

Outlining project goals, designing solutions, collaborating on process development, training clients, managing risks, supporting sales, and leading pre-sales activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, focused on power systems or relevant experience. Strong electricity industry knowledge with 5+ years of experience. Analysis and requirements management skills. Experience automating processes and scripting solutions. Resolving enterprise IT network issues and software development experience, especially with GE GridOS DERMS. Hands-on Python development experience. Knowledge Familiarity with energy industry trends, DER management, distribution planning, IT, SCADA, and asset management. Core Competencies Timely delivery, quality focus, teamwork, problem-solving, effective communication, growth mindset, client focus, and innovation. Nice to Have Master’s degree, AWS certification, DevOps, cybersecurity experience, cloud deployment familiarity, utility integration experience, and power system analysis software expertise. Additional Information The pay range is

$98,400 - $147,600 USD

annually, plus a 15% variable incentive. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and more. This is a remote position with no relocation assistance.
