DUTIES:

Responsible for working with development teams in designing, building, and delivery, via pipeline, scalable and cost-effective MS Azure Cloud/PaaS-based solutions in .NET. Create and optimize patterns and procedures for developers to follow in creating and deploying cloud-based solutions. Design and build automation aiding in verifying compliance to best practice development procedures, including Azure DevOps pipelining, laaC via Arm/Bicep, .NET/Azure resource-based solutions patterns, compliance to necessary tagging and configuration policies, unit testing, static code analysis, and other developer compliance and best practice related areas. Consult with and share “how-to” knowledge with various teams in the design and delivery of optimal Azure-based solutions. Ensure development and delivery of applications following standards and best practices set forth by internal policies and governing bodies. Develop and manage various developer compliance services, such as the tagging governance model, resource naming standards, static code analysis, unit testing standards, and other solution delivery compliance issues. Share Azure best practices and participate in a “developer community of practice” with solution delivery teams. Instill best practices in our software developer practice, constantly updating teammates and dev community on changing technologies and knowledge related to recent, current, and upcoming Azure Cloud capabilities. Conduct research on various technical initiatives and issues. Propose and communicate technical and detailed solutions. Provide Azure engineering support to development and delivery teams. Perform root cause analysis and provide guidance to technical leadership regarding future issues and problem prevention. Support and implement the technology roadmap for cloud platform. Provide consulting to development teams to help shape technical requirements and ensure solutions are optimized for cost quality and necessary compliance. Promote a culture of sustainable, cost-effective ownership.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Information System Management, Computer Science, or a related technical field required. Five years of experience in automotive distribution, dealership, financing, or warranty IT systems and business processes required. Five years of experience required in Azure AD application integration, Azure managed identity configuration, OAUTH based secret configuration and management including PKCE and OpenID, Azure application registration and management, APIM/API/MuleSoft with JWT based policy configuration, and Azure KeyVault and certificate automation, including any experience in the automation of Azure credential management. Three years of experience required with Azure PaaS resources, services, and DevOps tools, including: API management, log applications, application service, AKS, functions, pipelines, VS Studio, Azure ADO Repos, Azure ADO Pipelines, GitHub Repos, GitHub Actions, GitHub Pipelines, GitHub artifacts, GitHub Deployment Protection, GitHub Advanced Security, Azure ADO Boards, active directory/Entra, policy, KeyVault, Git, ARM/Bicep, PowerShell, AZ CLI, and REST API. Three years of Python and .NET C# developer experience in SDLC best practices required. Any experience required as a technology consultant, including experience with mapping requirements to automated solutions. Any experience required with foundational Cloud components and technologies, such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), basic networking, security, governance, and compliance standards. Any experience required as a .NET developer including experience in Azure PaaS resources and services.
