The Kustom US Inc. Seattle location is seeking a Reconstruction Project Director.
Location: Lynnwood, WA
Pay Range: $80k- $110k
What You Will Do
Stakeholder Engagement
Develop and nurture relationships with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers and local authorities. Ensure clear, consistent, and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Recruit, develop, manage a team of Project Manager and field construction technicians.
Project Execution
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Oversee all stages of construction, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Identify project risks and opportunities, implementing appropriate strategies to mitigate issues and drive project success. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to project timelines. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Regularly monitor project performance and report progress to stakeholders, addressing any deviations from the plan. Resolve project-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Customer Experience
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and fostering strong working relationships throughout the project. Understand client needs and expectations, ensuring that all deliverables meet or exceed their specifications. Continuously engage with customers to address concerns, provide status updates, and manage any changes in scope, timeline, or budget. Ensure that the customer’s experience remains positive throughout the project, from initial design to project handover. Proactively manage client expectations by providing solutions to potential challenges and facilitating transparent communication regarding project progress. Conduct post-project reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement in future projects. Ensure that customer feedback is collected, analyzed, and incorporated into future operational strategies.
Operational Duties
Oversee the day-to-day operations of residential construction projects, ensuring smooth coordination between internal and external teams. Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal use and minimizing waste or delay Monitor operational performance, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety. Implement best practices in project management and construction processes to improve overall project delivery times and cost-efficiency. Ensure proper documentation and reporting for project progress, budget tracking, and risk management. Maintain effective communication channels with all internal departments, ensuring alignment on project goals, resource allocation, and timelines. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting a collaborative work environment and ensuring team members are aligned with operational goals. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve operational processes.
What You Will Bring
5+ years of experience in construction and/or restoration preferred Experience reconstructing complex properties after water/fire/structural damage. Strong understanding of the insurance related reconstruction projects. Proficient in project management software (Procore, Builder trend, Next Gear, PSA, Sales Force, Microsoft Project, or similar) Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field. Ability to interpret project-related documents like scopes of work and blueprints. Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license in alignment with company policies.

What You Will Do
