Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associates. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. Provides leadership and support to the staff acting as a direct supervisor and reference. Primarily responsible for the day to day operation of the lab including scheduling of both staff and patients, supply levels and availability, equipment and procedural room usage, and other tasks pertaining to operations as develop. The value youll bring to the team: Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy. Provides leadership, support and coordination to staff. Participates in the interviewing and selection process. Responsible for orienting or providing appropriate preceptors for training and mentoring staff. The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed: 2 Related Experience Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Cert unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
