Has the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and takes initiative. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Teaches and directs the work of other staff and students as required. Participates in the AdventHealth performance improvement program. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Based on regulatory allowable practices at each specially licensed campus facility, proficiently performs effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a diagnostic or therapeutic cardiac laboratory team based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals scope of practice or performs effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in an electrophysiology laboratory based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals scope of practice. Contributes to overall quality of diagnostic service, and documentation. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department and holds team members accountable for providing quality care. Consistently and appropriately problem solves day to day issues. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Required qualifications: Associate Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) And Registered Nurse (RN) Or Lic Radiology Technologist (LRT-TECH) Or NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (NBRC-RRT) Or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Or Cardiovascular Interventional Tech Cert (CVIT) Or Licensed Paramedic (PARA) Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
