Compensation: $ 20.00 - $ 35 / hr
Depending on experience
We are a fast-paced, 24-hour emergency/specialty referral practice in beautiful San Diego California. We offer competitive compensation and great benefits for all employees. We are currently looking to add to our team and are seeking an experienced Veterinarian Assistant or RVT to add to our Surgery Department, who believes in high quality veterinary medicine with the experience and know-how to make it happen. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

You’ve worked hard for your credentialing and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
Venipuncture Catheter placement Radiology Anesthesia monitoring/Induction (RVT) Physical examinations and patient assessment Surgical preparation and assisting Laboratory work Pharmacy- refill prescriptions Patient recovery Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
