Our web services, tools, and build infrastructure directly impact over 1000 vehicle, energy, and Autopilot Software Engineers. You'll join a small team at the center of the firmware organization called Engineering Productivity, Build, and Internal Infrastructure. This position offers exposure to a wide array of technical challenges and the opportunity to uphold best practices such as code hygiene, reuse, and maintainability. You will work on developer experience, build frameworks, and ensure high availability of tools, services, and computational clusters. What You'll Do
Build a distributed compute system running code on hundreds of bare metal and cloud servers. Optimize code for efficiency, resource utilization, and faster compute workloads. What You'll Bring
5+ years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in any modern programming language (Golang, C++, Python, Rust, Ruby, etc.). Strong Linux knowledge. Experience with distributed compute systems (k8s, Slurm, LSF, etc.) or architectures. Knowledge of messaging services (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, etc.). Compensation and Benefits
