Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing (Urban Music) A little bit about our team:

The mission of the Warner Records Digital Marketing team is to drive fandom, music consumption, D2C purchases, and social conversation/engagement using innovative digital marketing strategies. The team manages all aspects of an artist’s digital presence, including narrative development, digital advertising, social content ideation, influencer campaigns, CRM, partner activations, content seeding, and websites. We work directly with artists to translate their musical vision into groundbreaking digital campaigns and provide creative consulting to grow engaged fanbases. Your role:

This role oversees high-level Urban Music digital marketing campaigns at Warner Records. Responsibilities include developing campaigns that create cultural conversations, build artist social followings and engagement, and drive music consumption. We seek a digital expert eager to shape the future of digital marketing within the industry. Here you’ll get to:

Oversee the development and execution of innovative digital marketing campaigns, building growth strategies for both established and emerging artists in the Urban Music space. Monitor campaigns in real-time, recommend improvements, and analyze campaign impact post-launch. Collaborate with internal teams such as Commercial Revenue, Marketing, Brand Partnerships, Creative, and Publicity to build cohesive cross-platform campaigns. Manage social media strategy, websites, and CRM for a designated roster, focusing on fandom, engagement, and consumption. Partner with artists and management to craft social narratives and content strategies that elevate their brands. Develop and maintain an editorial calendar across all social platforms. Work with creatives to develop high-performing short-form content. Coordinate with the VP of Paid Media Strategy to develop and execute paid campaigns and CRM strategies. Utilize audience insights to tailor marketing strategies based on demographic and psychographic data. Build relationships with social platform representatives and participate in update meetings. Manage online marketing budgets for each artist. About you:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. At least 3+ years in digital/social media marketing, D2C marketing, preferably within a record label or music management company. Excellent organizational, communication, and social media content strategy skills. Leadership and mentorship abilities. Project management experience. Ability to develop concise, executable digital marketing plans. Passion for fan-focused digital strategies and a solution-oriented approach. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Deep understanding of how to drive online engagement and growth. Proven leadership in team discussions and client meetings. Knowledge of interactive technologies and tools such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, YouTube, Snapchat, Discord, Website, Email/CRM, and social trends. Deep knowledge and passion for R&B and Hip-Hop music, trends, and culture. We’d love it if you also had:

Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience with project management software like Monday and Basecamp. Understanding of social media analytics and posting tools such as Falcon and Hootsuite. Record label experience. People management skills. A passion for digital and music.
