The City of McCall, Idaho, is seeking an Information Systems Manager to perform a wide range of management and operational duties related to our information technology systems, including data systems, policy development, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and user training. This employee will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the City's technological direction and support all departments in improving service delivery through effective information systems practices. The Information Systems Manager will serve as the City's lead authority on information technology policies, programs and operations, including the implementation and integration of system and technology initiatives necessary to achieve organizational goals. The Information Systems Manager is responsible for the security, efficiency, and strategic direction of all technology-related services, including software support, infrastructure, data integrity, cybersecurity, and internal technology training. The work is performed under the general direction of the City Manager, although considerable latitude is allowed for independent judgment and initiative, ensuring all work adheres to the highest ethical standards. The principal duties are performed in a public office environment. The job description may be subject to change as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job evolve. Minimum Qualifications

Degree in computer science or a related field, seven years of progressive experience in IT systems operations, and at least two years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the described work. Must have a valid driver's license, must be able to pass a McCall Police Department Criminal Justice Information System Background Check (MPD CJIS), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) desired, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) desired The Compensation

The compensation range for this opportunity is $113,298 to 162,032 annually with a mid-point of 131,747; actual salary will be dependent upon the qualifications and experience selected candidate.
