Financial Controller
Trillium Construction is hiring for a Financial Controller to work with a large commercial developer in Fort Myers, FL! The Financial Controller oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll, cash flow, and compliance. This role ensures financial health, supports business growth, manages risk, and leads the finance team. Duties: Manage financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting. Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts; oversee monthly close, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and payroll. Analyze costs, operations, and financial trends to support growth decisions. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Manage relationships with external CPAs for tax filings and financial strategy. Maintain internal controls, risk management, and auditing processes. Oversee financial systems (Sage Intacct, Procure, QuickBooks) and process improvements. Lead and develop the finance team; manage compensation, benefits, and retirement plans. Maintain transparent communication with lenders and stakeholders. Compensation: Annual salary up to $125,000 401(k) w/ match M/V/D insurance PTO Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); CPA or Master's (preferred). 5+ years of accounting experience with GAAP compliance. Proficient in Sage Intacct, Procure, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office. Experience as a Financial Controller, Director, or CFO preferred.
